When you visit our Wine Centre you can order any of the above
labels or you can ask to have a custom wine made to suite to
your own particular taste and budget.
At Portofino, we understand that the best wines begin on the
land and end in a glass. Our wines begin in Chile’s Maipo
Valley and Argentina’s Tupungato Valley, two of the best
grape-growing areas in the world. We import top-quality frozen
red grapes as well as juices from these famous vineyards.
In both of these fertile valleys, the vineyards
are found next to mountain rivers which provide the necessary
irrigation waters for the vines. Here, old world traditions
have been fused with innovative viticulture to produce superior
quality grapes and juices that we are able to provide all year
round.

We also bring in fresh grapes and juices
from California’s Sonoma and Central Valleys. Our wine
experts travel to these areas every year to inspect and select
the grapes.
Here in Ontario, our own Niagara vineyards provide superb quality
fresh grapes and juices which are transported in refrigerated
trucks and are made available to our clients. Some of our juices
are not pasteurized and they are limited to sale during September
and October only.
For customers with a taste for dessert wines, we offer ice wine
juices from Niagara vineyards. They are available only in December
and January after a heavy frost of at least two days.
Argentinian-style
Apple Cider
Portofino is the only source in Canada for genuine Argentina-style
apple cider, a traditional South American beverage for special
occasions and holidays.
